Avoid a parking ticket this winter! Remember winter parking restrictions are in effect until April 1st.
To facilitate the removal of snow from Village streets and roads, no person shall park or stop a vehicle as defined in the Uniform Traffic Code and the Michigan Motor Vehicle Code within five feet of the edge of the traveled portion of any Village street or road or in any municipal parking lot between the hours of 2AM to 6AM from December 1 to April 1 of each year.
You must have a permit to park your vehicle in public parking lots from 2AM to 6AM. Violators may receive a ticket from the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office. Read the parking ordinance here: https://ecode360.com/29411528
