City of Hart issued the following announcement on Jan 26.

The City of Hart had a water main break today on East Main Street and is diligently working to resolve the issue. Our hope is to have the water service restored by 8pm tonight.

Following that restoration, out of caution, we are issuing a boil water advisory for all residents utilizing city supplied water along East Main Street east of Woodlawn as shown in the picture below:

The City recommends following CDC guidelines in regards to boil water procedures. That information can be found here: https://www.cdc.gov/…/drinking…/boil-water-advisory.html

As soon as the water is appropriately tested and cleared for safety, the city will communicate that through all possible channels including the Oceana County Press, https://www.cityofhart.org/ and the City of Hart Facebook page.
