City of Muskegon issued the following announcement on Feb 1.

The Association of Volleyball Professionals — the nation’s pro beach volleyball tour — is making plans to bring a tier-three event of up and coming stars to the City of Muskegon’s Pere Marquette Beach June 10-12. The AVP hasn’t been on Muskegon’s beach for more than a decade.
