City of Brighton issued the following announcement on Dec 28.

Curbside holiday tree pickup will occur during both the weeks of December 27, 2021 and January 3, 2022.

Please remove all decorations before placing your tree at the curb and do not put your tree in a plastic bag.

Please note that City of Brighton Residents’ trash pickup, which includes holiday tree disposal, over the Christmas and New Year’s Holidays will continue as normal. The holidays will NOT impact or interfere with the regular waste collection schedule for the City of Brighton. Both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day fall on Saturdays, and therefore, will NOT delay garbage collection for the weeks of December 20 and 27, 2021 as well as the week of January 3, 2022.
