The county registered an average of $4.84 per gallon for diesel gas.
Of the 78 reported gas stations located within Muskegon County, 38 offered diesel gas.
For comparison, the average price of diesel gas in Michigan was $4.90 per gallon for the week ending Mar. 21, up from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
