City of Montague issued the following announcement on Dec 21.
The Michigan Municipal League (MML) is seeking public input on legislation regarding Short-Term Rentals. MML has crafted a five-question survey to gauge local public opinion on the regulation of vacation rentals through sites like Airbnb and VRBO. One bill (HB 4722) pending in state Senate would allow up to 1 in 3 homes in a community to be used as vacation rental properties.
