Fruitport Community Schools issued the following announcement on Feb 23.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are no longer able to have a bus stop at Sam’s Club.
Effective Wednesday, February 23, 2022, the bus stop will be at Broadway Baptist Church, 2680 S Oak Ln, Muskegon, MI 49444. Your student’s bus stop time will be the same. The stop is at the front entrance at the church lot.
The bus will stop on the roadway. It will stop with the overhead red flashing lights. Just a reminder No cars within 20 feet of the bus stop can move until the bus lights are out and the bus is in motion. That is the law.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we plan on making this a quick and easy transition. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact the Transportation Office at (231) 865-3196.
