Oakridge Public Schools issued the following announcement on Apr 12.

OAKRIDGE SEX EDUCATION ADVISORY BOARD INVITATION

All Oakridge parents, guardians, and community members are invited to apply to serve on the Oakridge Sex Education Advisory Board (SEAB).    
Our next meeting will be held Tuesday April 19th on Zoom @ 5:00pm (committee members may also choose to meet in room 13 at the middle school).

This SEAB team is required by law to…
* Establish goals for the program to reduce rates of sex, pregnancy, and diseases among students and monitor effectiveness of efforts.  
* Review/approve of age appropriate puberty and sex education instructional materials.
* Attend at least 2 meetings per year (and in the future) and give feedback.  

Please consider serving on the Sex Education Advisory Board.  Spots are limited! We will announce new members by Friday April 15th, 2022.
