Seeking Bids for Senior Millage Snow Plowing

  • Cost per driveway to plow through October 2022 through May 2023, if necessary
  • Plow snow when 2”-3” accumulation, but no more than 3” accumulation
  • Just basic plowing – a couple of passes and a turn around. (If extra snow plowing is wanted, owners or renters will need to work out their own arrangement and payment schedule with the snow plow provider)
  • Holton Township has a limited budget and will only use what is available in the Senior Millage for this program.  Once those funds are depleted, the program will be done for the winter
  • There will be no cost overruns billed to Holton Township
  • Expecting 20 to possibly 35 driveways, depending on bids received
  • Must have a copy of insurance filed at the Township Hall of $100,000
  • Drivers of snow plow trucks must have a copy of their Driver’s License filed at the Holton Township Hall
  • Snow plow provider will bill on the first of the month, and the Township will pay the bill after each Board Meeting, which is on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.  There will be up to 6 payments starting in December 2022
