State Rep. Greg VanWoerkom (R-Norton Shores) recently posted on Facebook photos of him doing a ride-a-long with a Michigan State Police trooper.
“Last night/early this morning I went on a midnight shift ride-a-long with our boys in blue," VanWoerkom wrote in a Jan. 7 Facebook post. "It turned out to be a routine night for Trooper Orban and I as we patrolled the northern portion of Muskegon County.”
VanWoerkom went on to say “I appreciated the conversation and insight to what our officers do each and everyday (sic) to keep us safe. Thank you Michigan State Police.”
