NBC New Staff Spotlight!

Notice

Montague Area Public Schools recently issued the following announcement.

NBC New Staff Spotlight!!! We are excited to have Brad Tate on board teaching 8th grade Social Studies

Brad Tate is a 1992 graduate of Montague High School.  He attended Alma College where he competed athletically and where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1996.

Brad attained his Master’s Degree in Education from Aquinas College in 2000.  He was a social studies teacher at Oakridge High School for twenty-two years where he coached boys and girls basketball, track and field and started their golf program in 2016.  Brad is married to Susan Tate who is a middle school science teacher at Whitehall.  They have two children, Allison and Brady, who are both in high school.  Brad’s parents, Jim and Maria, were also educators who spent time teaching and coaching in Montague.  It has been a lifelong goal for Brad to have the opportunity to teach, coach and give back to his hometown of Montague.  He is very grateful and excited to be a part of the Montague School District team.  Brad hopes that he can be a positive influence on his students and athletes just like many of his teachers were for him.
