Fruitport Community Schools recently issued the following announcement.
The Board of Education unanimously appointed JB Meeuwenberg to the vacant trustee position at a special meeting last evening. JB has been a teacher and educator since 2005, and is a parent and public school advocate. He is the Developmental Math Coordinator, Department Chair, and Data Lead for the Student Success Strategy Team at Muskegon Community College. He is completing a doctoral degree in Community College Leadership from Ferris State University.
