City of Norton Shores issued the following announcement on Oct 13.
Trick or Treating Sunday, October 31 from 6 - 8 p.m.
Remember these safety tips to have a fun safe time.
Carry a flashlight, a real one - save your cellphone battery for that important call.
Only wear flame-resistant costume.
A responsible adult should accompany young children.
Older children should have a route and set time to be home.
Teach your children never to enter a strangers home or car.
Don't eat treats until your home and candy can be checked out by an adult.
