City of Muskegon Heights issued the following announcement on Oct 23.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll have archaeologists at the high school baseball field completing required field surveys for our Land and Water Conservation Grant application. This work is required to proceed through the application process by Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966. The work will look similar to the photo. The field crew will be working to save and replace the turf to ensure continued safe usage of the field throughout the fall.
As always, we’re working with our great partner North Muskegon Public Schools.
