City of Norton Shores recently issued the following announcement.
Reminder, the last day to get leaves and brush to the disposal sites before they close for the season is December 5th.
Both sites are open daily from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
We will accept bagged leaves only at the Ross Park site.
We will accept bagged and loose leaves as well as small brush (less than 3 inches in diameter) at the Wood Road site.
Bagged leaves must be placed in paper bags. Plastic bags will not be accepted.
Users of the Wood Road and Martin Road (Ross Park) yard waste sites are reminded they are required to tarp and/or secure all loads. This requirement includes pick-up trucks and trailers.
Trash and garbage can be taken to the Muskegon County Solid Waste Facility on Apple Avenue.
