Norton Shores Fire Department issued the following announcement on Dec 4.
**Working Fire**
Green Shift Personnel are on the scene of a Working Fire in the 1100 block of Sherwood Rd in the City of Roosevelt Park. A neighbor reported flames from a Detached Garage. E-424 arrived to find Fire showing from the Alpha (front) Side of the Structure. The fire was quickly knocked down by first arriving personnel, and overhaul operations are in progress. While enroute to the Sherwood alarm, an overlapping call was dispatched, and Ladder 443 was diverted to handle the secondary call. Muskegon Heights Fire is on the scene assisting with firegeound operations.
