CITY OF NORTON SHORES leaf disposal sites will be open daily

City of Norton Shores issued the following announcement on Mar 2.

THE CITY OF NORTON SHORES leaf disposal sites will be open daily to City residents, from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., beginning Saturday, April 2, 2022 and extending through Sunday, June 5, 2022, at the following locations:

1. Wellesley Road at Randall Road, east side of Ross Park.

2. Wood Road south of Pontaluna Road.

After June 5, only the Wood Road site will be open, on Saturdays and Sundays  only, throughout the summer.

We will accept paper bagged leaves only at the Ross Park site. We will accept paper bagged and loose leaves as well as small brush (less then 3 inches in diameter) at the

Wood Road site. Bagged leaves must be placed in paper bags. Plastic bags will not be accepted. Trash and garbage can be taken to the Muskegon County Solid Waste Facility

on Apple Avenue.

Users of the Wood Road and Martin Road (Ross Park) yard waste sites are reminded they are required to tarp and/or secure all loads. This requirement includes pick-up trucks and

trailers.
