Poetry meets art in the Art Talks Back Ekphrastic Poetry Contest at the MMA!
Michigan writers are invited to write an original ekphrastic poem based on one of five pre-selected works of art in the Muskegon Museum of Art’s permanent collection.
It is free to enter and open to all Michigan residents ages 18+ and Muskegon County high school students.
A Writing Salon to celebrate the opening of the Art Talks Back Poetry Contest is happening tonight, Thursday, January 19, from 5:30-6:30 PM.
