“Golden Legacy: 80 Years of Original Art from Golden Books” opens this Thursday at 5 PM! 

This new exhibition features over 60 original illustrations from the Little Golden Book series, including classics like The Porky Little Puppy, Tootie, Home for a Bunny, The Color Kittens, I Can Fly, and many more!

The opening reception will include readings from the iconic classics of Little Golden Books by MMA docents and a Golden Book art activity.

“Golden Legacy: 80 Years of Original Art from Golden Books is underwritten by DTE Energy, Mike & Kay Olthoff, the David & Carol Folkert Family Fund of the Community Foundation for Muskegon County, and Blue Lake Public Radio.

This exhibition was organized by the National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature, Abilene, Texas.
