Saturday, March 1: Fruitport High School standout Cody Matuz’s college team wins to Assumption Greyhounds

On Saturday, March 1, former Fruitport High School standout Cody Matuz’s current college team, the Northwood Timberwolves, won 13-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Assumption Greyhounds.

The game took place at Lake Myrtle Park. This was their first matchup against the Greyhounds this season.

The Timberwolves’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 6 p.m. at Northeast Regional Park against California Vulcans.
