The average cost of regular gas in cities within Muskegon County was $3.12 per gallon.
Of the nine gas stations in cities within Muskegon County, three offer regular gas.
The average price of regular gas in Michigan was $2.95, compared to $2.97 the week before.
Experts predict gasoline prices could drop below $3 this year before rebounding closer to $4 by year’s end. GasBuddy forecasted a national average of $3.38 per gallon, down from $3.51. An outlook published in late 2023 suggests that gas rates will continue to fall in 2024.
