Wood TV8 will be broadcasting LIVE

An exciting opportunity is coming to Fruitport High School on Friday, September 23rd.  Wood TV8 will be broadcasting LIVE from our new turf field that morning.  We are encouraging our high school students to meet us on the football field at 6:00 a.m. to show your school spirit and your bright and shining faces on the morning news!!  Parents, please plan on dropping students off and students plan on parking in the back parking lot and walking to the field through that gate.

In addition, The Football Frenzy crew runs a non-perishable food drive at each school to benefit Feeding America West Michigan.  The goal for Fruitport High School is to collect 2,500 or more non-perishable food items.  If every high school student brought in three items, we would meet that goal.

The high school is running a food collection competition between the grade levels, but we would LOVE it if the community would also drop off non-perishable food items.  Donations can be dropped off to the front office between the hours of 7:00 – 3:00 next Monday, September 19 – Thursday (morning), September 22.

Let’s show everyone how great it is to be a Trojan!
