City of Muskegon recently issued the following announcement.
World Drowning Prevention Day will be observed for the first time on July 25, 2021.
Mercy Health has an online survey to help guide efforts to ensure all residents and visitors to Muskegon can swim and play in the water safely.
The hope is to reveal any existing social equity issues around water safety that need to be addressed. Participants completing the survey are eligible to win one of several $25 Lakeshore Cash gift certificates.
