Muskegon County Area Fire Chiefs to hold mobile food truck inspection event.
To operate a mobile food unit within the county, owners are required to pass an inspection. Fire Inspectors are hosting two inspection events. Although vendors are not required to attend the event, fire inspectors want to make it easy for vendors to participate and be safe.
The two events will be held on:
Wednesday, March 22, 2023, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon
Friday, March 24, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
at 770 Terrace St., Muskegon, MI 49440
The Health Department will also be on hand; vendors seeking a health department inspection must contact the health department at least four days before the event.
A fire inspection costs $5.00, and health department inspections are $90.00.
